Mom and Dad

I haven't really done anything since my dad passed away 18 days ago. I spent so much time with him over the years however it just wasn't nearly enough time. I miss him and I really wanted to do something for him... I sketched out a drawing of my mom from his favorite photograph last November however I never finished it. I just wish I could of done it for him while he was alive.

I am not really good at making realistic portraits or capturing likenesses very well and it is a little stylized however I think it captures my parents likeness at least a little bit. I think my dad would of been pleased with it.

I might work on it a little more and fix some mistakes however I wanted it ready for his Memorial Service so that was as far as I got I might work on it a little more latter now that I have no reason to rush.

I had to shot the image with my camera because it is on a 16 x 12 piece of bristol board and too big for my scanner
